Jasprit Bumrah, the world's top-ranked Test bowler, recently found himself on the receiving end of a playful jab from his wife, Sanjana Ganesan. The incident occurred during their appearance on Harbhajan Singh and Geeta Basra's YouTube show, 'Who's The Boss'.

The context of the humorous exchange dates back to before their marriage. Sanjana, a renowned sports presenter, recounted Bumrah's suggestion that they elope. Her response? A witty retort: "You don't even run during your run-up. So how will you run with me?" This light-hearted moment showcased the couple's playful dynamic.

Meanwhile, on the cricket field, Bumrah's participation in the upcoming second Test against England at Edgbaston, Birmingham, remains uncertain.

The Indian team management, consisting of chief selector Ajit Agarkar, head coach Gautam Gambhir, captain Shubman Gill, and Bumrah himself, have collectively decided that he will play only three matches out of the five-match series against England.

During the first Test, former India captain Sunil Gavaskar playfully urged Sanjana, who was the on-field presenter, to persuade Bumrah to participate in all five matches, acknowledging his impactful performance. However, she skillfully avoided the question. The team management has yet to specify which two Tests Bumrah will be resting for.

Bumrah's Test record in England is quite impressive, having taken 42 wickets in nine matches. He currently holds the position of the third-highest wicket-taker for India in England, trailing only Ishant Sharma and Kapil Dev.

Ishant Sharma leads with 48 wickets from 14 Tests, followed by Kapil Dev with 43 wickets in 13 Tests on English soil.
